Negative of Spaces

These are short sections of a tree that lived for many years next door. Most of the tree went into the wood chipper one summer, but several of its smaller branches were saved, dried out, diced up, and reused to make these. A larger branch was suitably shaped, and now holds 68 colourful pencil crayons.
